Accelerate Solar
The Center for Sustainable Economy has partnered with Accelerate Solar, an organization devoted to the promotion of solar panel energy use in the Bay Area. Accelerate Solar seeks to offset the harmful effects of our dependence on fossil fuels and carbon emissions by using donated funds to provide schools and non-profit organizations with solar panels. Placing solar panels in schools gives students hands-on experience with alternative energy. Beyond the environmental benefits, solar panels result in savings in energy costs for often financially stressed schools and non-profits.
