CSE Partners with New Economics Foundation to Advance Sustainable Development in the European Union

Building on a successful trip to Brussels and London last fall, CSE has recently entered into a partnership with the London-based New Economics Foundation to explore alternative economic indicators and demonstrate their use in shaping public policy. The first project will be production of a pamphlet making the case for alternatives to GDP to be promoted as part of NEF’s “triple crunch” series. Release of the pamphlet will coincide with the EU’s Beyond GDP initiative and the European Economic and Social Committee’s (EESC) efforts to find three headline indicators for use as policy analysis tools.
